This Certificate in Education and Training is ideal for individuals in the following positions:
Anyone who is currently or has access to teaching or training (min of 30 hours and can meet the practical requirements of the course (such as being assessed and observed in order to showcase understanding and skills
Anyone who is currently employed as an assessor but dreams of gaining a teaching qualification.
Our level 4 Education and Training qualification will prepare you to work in a variety of areas, equipping you to meet the needs of your learners and gain an understanding of inclusivity, diversity and equality. The course will also discuss relevant legislation that you should be aware of.
Programme Structure
Exalt Training Ltd will allocate you a dedicated assessor who will be the person who will support you as you work towards your qualification. During your learning journey, you will receive regular communication, to deliver the required knowledge that may be conducted remotely and/or face to face. You will plan assessments in such things like completing assignments, observing your ability to assess learner performance, asking questions and evidence gathering.
The course provides the knowledge and skills that you need to start teaching and you will learn:

What does the qualification cover?
The qualification is made up of several units and each unit covers a different activity so you can build up to the full qualification.
There are 4 mandatory units to be covered followed with a range of optional units which your tutor will support you to choose.
Teaching evidence
A minimum of three teaching/training practice observations will be carried out and must be linked to the following mandatory units:
Delivering education and training
Assessing learners in education and training
Using resources for education and training
On average learners will take between 3 – 5 months to complete this course.
