Exalt Training Limited are looking for a dynamic Accounts Assistant to join our finance team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting expanding business working within the Work-Based Learning/Apprenticeship sector.

Previous experience in a similar role is essential. Ideally, the candidate would be AAT qualified with Xero software experience.

The Role:

As accounts assistant, you will be required to report to the finance manager and your role will include the following for two of our agencies.

· Processing invoices and credit notes in a timely and accurate manner. Ensuring a full audit trail of correspondence for regulatory purposes.

· Daily banking and hubdocs reconciliations including chasing receipts.

· Liaising with customers and internal staff to report where payments have not been received within the agreed timescales.

· Ensure that all accounts payable activities comply with relevant financial policies and procedures.

· Preparation of monthly payroll and expenses.

· Support the team with streamlining current financial processes.

· Other support as required from Finance Manager.

Skills:

· Experience using accounting Xero is essential

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Experience using hubdocs preferable but not essential

· Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office applications, Excel & Word

· Must have high level of attention to detail

· Hands-on approach

· Collaborative

· Ad Hoc duties commensurate with the role profile and business needs.

This is a hybrid role, home/Office based as required. We are looking ideally for someone with easy access to Wareham, Dorset area.

Salary £25000 per annum/pro-rata

25 days holiday plus England & Wales bank holidays

Part-time hours: 20-25 hours per week
