1,000 Miles to support Vulnerable Children

This year Exalt-Training has chosen The James Bulger Memorial Trust as one of its nominated charities.   Working together, we plan to raise over £1000 in the next month for this remarkable charity which provides free holidays, respite and days out for children who have been affected by a bereavement, bullying and hate crimes as well as young people who are carers for a parent or sibling.

The charity was selected by Marie Kerwick, one of Exalt-Training’s Business Skills Coaches. As a Liverpudlian and a parent, it is a charity close to her heart. She said: “The tragedy of James Bulger is remembered by all of us, both in Liverpool and across the country. The James Bulger Memorial Trust does amazing work to fundraise in his name. It provides free holidays, respite weekends and days-out for vulnerable children and young people who are dealing with tragic or challenging circumstances. All funds raised go to the Trust to pay for holidays and experiences to help children and their loved ones enjoy some precious time together, alongside specialist support from counsellors.”

Organised by Head of Business, Education & Care, Ben Wakefield, our first charity challenge is to Run One Thousand Miles in One Month!   The Exalt-Training team, partners, spouses, children and dogs are all getting involved and logging miles run/jogged/walked/hopped on Map my Run.  Please support them by donating HERE
